Terms of Service

• You must be 18 or older.
• Everything on a profile (name, age, religion, caste or community, marital status, job, education, income and the rest) is written by the member. Kovyxa does not verify it and does not run background checks.
• Never send money, gifts, OTPs or bank details to anyone you meet on Kovyxa, for any reason. Report anyone who asks.
• You are responsible for your own interactions and safety, online and when you meet in person.

This summary is for convenience; the full terms below apply.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kovyxa website and app ("Service"), operated by Pawan Kumar(an individual, operating as Kovyxa) ("Kovyxa", "we", "us"). Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.

You accept these Terms by ticking "I agree" when you sign up, or by tapping "I agree" when we ask you to accept an updated version. We keep a record of the version you accepted and when. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• You must be an individual (not a business), using the Service for yourself, not on behalf of anyone else.
• You must not have been convicted of, or be facing charges for, a sexual offence or a violent crime.
• You must not have been previously banned from Kovyxa.
• You must give accurate information and keep it updated.

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your Google sign-in secure. You may not share your account or transfer it to anyone else. If you think your account has been compromised, email pawan@kovyxa.com immediately.

Kovyxa is a dating platform where profiles are anonymous by default (no profile photos) and members get to know each other through what they write. It offers optional AI features (such as compatibility notes, opener ideas and date ideas), chat, and voice and video calls. Kovyxa is a platform that connects members; it is not a matchmaking, marriage or background-verification service and does not arrange introductions on anyone's behalf.

Selfie verification(the "Verified" badge) only means that a live person completed a selfie check when the account was set up. It does notconfirm the person's name, age, identity or intentions, and it is not a safety guarantee. Optional LinkedIn sign-in only shows that the member controls that LinkedIn account.

Kovyxa does not verify any information members write about themselves, including but not limited to:

• name, age and date of birth
• religion, caste, community or family background
• marital or relationship status (including whether someone is single, married, divorced or separated)
• education, college, job, company, income or work experience
• city, native place, height, lifestyle, habits, kids or relocation plans
• birth time and place used for Kundli, and any Kundli result
• intentions, such as whether someone is looking for a serious relationship or marriage

We do not carry out criminal, identity, marital or other background checks on members. Compatibility scores and AI notes are based only on what members wrote and can be wrong. If something matters to you, such as marital status or religion, confirm it yourself before you make any decision, and especially before any commitment.

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members, in the app, on other apps and in person. We cannot guarantee anyone's identity, conduct or safety, and our tools (verification, reporting, safety tips) do not guarantee it either. Please follow the safety tips in the app, and in particular:

• Never send money, gifts, gift cards, recharges or crypto, never lend money, and never share an OTP, UPI PIN, card or bank details, whatever the story (an emergency, a hospital bill, a customs fee, an "investment" or "trading" opportunity, a visa or travel cost).
• Keep the conversation on Kovyxa until you trust the person. You can voice and video call in the app.
• Do not share your home address, workplace details or private photos with someone you have not met.
• Before meeting, video call first. Meet in a busy public place, arrange your own transport, tell a friend where you are going, and leave if you feel uncomfortable.
• If someone asks for money or behaves badly, stop, report them in the app, and if you have been cheated, report it to the police or the national cyber crime helpline (1930 / cybercrime.gov.in).

Kovyxa is not a party to any transaction, arrangement or relationship between members and is not responsible for any money or property you give to another member.

You agree not to use Kovyxa to, and not to try to:

• ask any member for money, gifts, loans, recharges, OTPs, bank or card details, or other things of value
• run or take part in any scam, fraud, "romance scam", investment, trading, crypto, job, MLM or similar scheme
• offer or seek paid companionship, sexual services or "sugar" arrangements
• impersonate anyone, use someone else's details, or misrepresent your age, marital status or identity
• create more than one account, or an account for someone else
• harass, threaten, stalk, blackmail or abuse anyone, or send sexual content to someone who has not asked for it
• record calls, or share screenshots, messages, photos or personal details of another member outside Kovyxa without their permission
• advertise, sell, recruit, or promote other apps, groups, channels or businesses
• post content that is illegal, hateful, obscene, or that discriminates or promotes violence against anyone, including on the basis of religion, caste, gender or sexuality
• scrape, copy or collect other members' data, use bots, or try to get into other accounts or our systems
• use the Service in any way that breaks any applicable law

You own the content you add ("User Content"). You give Kovyxa a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and use it only to run the Service (for example, showing your profile to other members or generating AI features you ask for). You confirm that your User Content is accurate, is yours to share, does not include other people's personal information without their consent, and is lawful. We may remove any User Content that breaks these Terms, without notice.

• Reveal lets you choose to share your name, LinkedIn and GitHub with one specific match.
• Once revealed, the other member may keep that information even if you "unreveal" later.
• Kovyxa is not responsible for how another member uses information you chose to share with them.

Compatibility reports, scores, Kundli results, bio, opener and date ideas are indicative suggestions generated from what members wrote. They may be wrong or incomplete and are not advice. Decisions about any connection are entirely your own.

Please report any member who breaks these Terms, asks for money, or makes you feel unsafe, using Report in the chat, on the match or during a call, or by emailing pawan@kovyxa.com. When a conversation is reported, authorised staff may read it to investigate.

We may warn, limit, suspend or permanently ban an account, remove content, and keep information needed to investigate or to comply with law. We may share information with the police or other authorities when the law requires it or when someone's safety is at risk. We are not obliged to monitor all activity, and we cannot catch every bad actor.

• Premium features are paid for with credits bought as one-time packs (no subscriptions).
• Used credits are non-refundable. Unused packs can be refunded within 7 days, as set out in our Refund Policy.
• Credits do not expire while your account is active and are lost when your account is deleted. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
• Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and listed on our Pricing page. We may change prices for future purchases.
• If an account is banned for breaking these Terms, unused credits are not refunded, except where the law requires.

For billing problems, email pawan@kovyxa.com within 30 days of the charge.

You may ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing pawan@kovyxa.com from your registered email (Settings → Delete Account opens the email). We delete it within 7 days of your request.

We may suspend or terminate your account, without notice, if you break these Terms, if we reasonably believe you are a risk to other members, or if the law requires it.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties about the Service, and in particular we do not promise:

• that any member is who they say they are, or that anything in a profile or message is true
• anything about the conduct, intentions or safety of any member, online or offline
• that you will find a match, or that any match, score or AI note will lead to a good relationship
• that the Service will always be available, secure or free of errors

Kovyxa is not responsible for the conduct of any member, on or off the Service, including fraud, cheating, harassment or harm caused by another member.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kovyxa and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of money, data, reputation or opportunity, arising from your use of the Service or from the conduct or content of any member.

Our total liability to you for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for our own fraud), or your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Disputes between members are between those members. To the extent the law allows, you release Kovyxa from claims arising from another member's conduct. You agree to compensate Kovyxa for losses and reasonable costs caused by your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights under consumer protection law, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

In line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules under it, our Grievance Officer handles complaints about content, other members, privacy and these Terms:

We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will tell you in the app and ask you to agree to the new version before you continue using the Service. The date at the top shows the latest version.
